Kanchan Nepal recently conducted ODF impact research in collaboration with public health students from La Grandee International College, Pokhara and School of Population and Global Health, UWA. 10 students from University of Western Australia (UWA) and 10 students from La Grandee International College/Pokhara University carried out research activities under supervision of Professor Jane Heyworth and Dr. Julie Saunders from UWA, Nirmal Adhikari and Sony Pun from KN.It has been already 6 year Kaski was declared as first ODF District in Nepal. Total sanitation activities have been promoted as post ODF activities  afterward in few VDCs as pilot program by DWSS.

Mr. Han Heijnen, President of IRHA (International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance) also put encourage speech on related subject matters during these session.

This was third public health research activity done by KN done in association with UWA.

Realizing people practices on sanitation activities KN proposed UWA to see impact of an ODF program in Kaski District.
